A series of posters created for the short film Motel Champagne, directed by Michael Deigh and produced by Cotton, Jeans, and Roses, LLC. A young man meets an older woman at a motel. When a beautiful stranger interrupts the tryst, the night takes a violent turn.
Direction and Design by Britt Tapsall

The neon sign of the motel is used as the reference point for the characters of the film. I took specific moments from the film that refer to major plot points, and highlighted them with a neon light. All work was done in Illustrator.

The silhouettes created by each vertical neon light are direct references to moments in the film.
