A poster commissioned for the short film, Along The Way, produced by Spencer Arthur Films, LLC. The film follows two young men, hitchhiking out to Montauk, NY where they meet an elderly couple who are eager to impart the wisdom of life and love.

We decided to use water color for its direct relation to the ocean, with a textural, uneven application which lends itself well to sand and water. The edges were left rough, and do not bleed pas the edge so that the final design would have a frame, evoking a snapshot of a fleeting moment. The characters and type were drawn in Illustrator.
